today ii had two meeting on zoom where I was the host. in both meetings, it said "recording in progress", but the meeting were never actually recorded, the recording icon appeared at the top, but now that im trying to find the recordings, nothing shows up. I don't understand what's going on

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble locating your meeting recordings. First, please double-check that you were the one who started the recording. Zoom recordings are saved to the account or device of the person who initiated the recording.

 

Depending on where you recorded, the steps to troubleshoot will differ. These guides should help:

  1. If you recorded to the cloud: Troubleshooting missing cloud recordings

  2. If you recorded locally to your computer: Troubleshooting computer recording issues
