I can no longer use "Record on this Computer" I have ample room on my hard drive.
When I press "Record on this Computer", the settings window always appears, but I cannot record.
Help!!! Please 🙂

I managed to find the solution with the help of a Zoom support expert.
I just changed the path of where to put the recordings, and then it started working.
My guess is that there was some problem with the default path.

This solution is not working for me. I have updated Zoom, closed and opened the app, tried a number of different locations to store the recording. "Settings" still opens every time I try to record on my computer. As with Yitzhak, I have plenty of storage.

Wow, this sounds really annoying.
Try uninstalling totally and reinstalling.

It did not. I unchecked "Choose a location for the recorded files when meeting ends" and this fixed the problem. This means I have to go to the Zoom-created file to rename and move it to my preferred location, but at least it lets me record.
