When hosting a recurring meeting, I open the meeting, participants try to join but "see Host has anothr meeting in progress." Why? This hasn't happened before during the whole year I have hosted this recurring meeting.

Hi @CBalto

Generally this means there is a mismatch between the meeting you are in and the meeting they are attempting to join. Double-check the invite they are using and the meeting you are currently running.

I'm not in or running another meeting. Why does it think I am?  Closed Zoom (think it is always running)(didn't log out, maybe I should?), restarted computer, same problem. Thanks

Hi @kcarabio

It could be that someone else has clicked on a link to a meeting you provided and has one of your meetings running. Since that meeting is running on another computer, the system is not allowing you to start a 2nd. If you are signed-in as the host of the meeting, you should be see a window asking if you want to end the other meeting, so that you can start this meeting.

I had this same issue happen right after a recent Zoom update. Suddenly my participants who have always used the same custom link, could not join my session using that same link. They got the same message that I had another meeting in progress. There shouldn't be anything different in the link. Both numbers appear to be the same--they are my phone number. How can I fix this?

Hello @HeyRachey

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

It's possible that you are using a different meeting link than the one you intended to. To check this, the you can go to your web profile, navigate to Settings > Meetings > Schedule Meeting, and check the "Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) when scheduling a meeting" toggle.

Let me know if this does not solve your concern.

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

Hi and thanks for the help. I went to my profile settings for meetings and that Enable Personal ID was toggled on. The problem I have is not with all participants. But a few have it consistently. Thanks for any more ideas.
