iPhone zoom app puts me in waiting room with no video on zoom podcasts. I can hear, not see podcast

I reinstalled the Zoom app on my iPhone 15 max pro again today.  I still get put into the waiting room when I first join the zoom.  The host cannot see me there.  I can hear the podcast but can't see it.  I follow the dial in number and meeting id to join the call;  I don't have a login link.  I can join the call including video when I view it on my computer.  How can i be added to the full podcast and not the waiting room on the phone app?

It doesn't matter if I call in several minutes before the meeting starts or after.  I am put in the waiting room and because I'm not seen by the admin, I never get moved out into the meeting, so I never have video.
