help with mic speaker and video options

Hello - 

 

When I am in Zoom chat - there are no up arrows next to the mic and video for me to choose settings.  When I go to settings and click on audio - there is no place to adjust settings for mic and speaker.

It is not clear what you are doing. We would need to see  screenshots for clarification. Chat does not alter audio options.
