free account won't let me choose a virtual background

I just signed up for the free account it won't doesn't give me option to choose a virtual background. There isn't even admin photos to choose from. Did zoom recently make a change to delete this option for free accounts?

There's no restriction for a Basic account.  See "Troubleshooting Visual background Issues" in the article.

It's more likely related to the capability of the computer you're on, but there are other possibilities. Hopefully the troubleshooting guide helps you.
