Hi @kerenmishpat

To delay the start of the waiting room is not possible at this time.

Good recommendation for future enhancement.

Warm Regards !!

Another qustion (maybe you'll have a creative solution):

At the college where I work, some of our lessons are conducted via Zoom.

We request that our students attend these lessons with their cameras turned on. However, not all students comply, and teachers often remove them from the lesson. Unfortunately, these students frequently reconnect through the lesson link.

One idea we're considering is to allow all students into the lesson initially. Then, if someone is "kicked" out, they would need to request permission to reconnect.

Do you have any suggestions  for handling this situation effectively?

Thank you!!

Regarding your question about rejoining, if you use a Waiting Room, the instructor could move them to the Waiting Room if their camera is off. The Waiting Room can then include instructions about the camera requirement and instruct them only to leave and rejoin if their camera on.

Here's a link with instruction on how to change the Waiting Room message:

Adjustable, timed control of the waiting room is a great idea. I'd like to see the ability to:

A) set a delay to enable it (e.g., 15 or 20 minutes after a meeting starts).

B) have it on before the host joins the meeting, then turn it off when the host arrives, then turn it back on after 15 or 20 minutes.
