This happens to me too!! It's absolutely maddening, have you found a fix? I am using an M2 macbook

Turns out, my laptop (Huawei Matebook Pro X), has a dodgy cooling system - so essentially my laptop overheats with the extra bandwidth and causes issues. Which is extremely irritating for a computer that almost cost me £2000!
