Zoom volume too low on iPad 8th gen

iPad vol ok when playing YouTube videos & music so it’s not the iPad speakers.   Since I can hear faint voices, the microphone isn’t muted.  Various zoom articles said to click on the up arrow near the microphone icon, but there isn’t an up arrow near the microphone.  I have the latest Zoom version on my iPad.

      Hey @Crestvw12, to turn the volume up on Zoom you can use the buttons on the side of your device. Ensure you're connected to audio as well as your 'speaker' isn't muted showing an ' x ' by it. Mine shows the Bluetooth sign because my device is connected to my AirPods.
