On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom start the meeting then crash twice

I didn't know the reason for real, but I noticed that when I try to click on the audio settings the app crash, I asked then I found that I put my mic default format to the max 192kHz then I asked copilot, and I found out that zoom app crashes if your mic format is higher than 48kHz so that is the reason I hope I helped someone to fix this problem.

Thanks for this. This at least got me back into meetings without having to break out my laptop. I can also confirm that 96kHz does not crash the latest version of Zoom on Windows 11 and works fine also. Audio settings crash if running anything higher than that it seems.

It would be great if the Zoom team could make an adjustment for this, because it used to work fine prior to the last Windows update, and other meeting software held up just fine. Discord, Teams, Google Meet, even Slack Huddles all work fine with my mic at 192kHz. I shouldn't have to sacrifice sound quality on all of them just to support Zoom.

Another random thing that if you max your mic quality then open zoom on web like chrome, edge or something else it works fine 🤣
