Zoom pauses background music when focused

When Zoom is focused, the SoundCloud tab in the background pauses. Is there a way to not have this happen? It also does this with Spotify.

Sorry for the delay in responding.  Is this still happening?  Are you trying to share the audio over Zoom, or is this occurring when you are listening to audio and switch to Zoom without sharing?
