Zoom on Macbook

I only need Zoom for one meeting and probably won't require it again in the near future.  I don't want to pay for a subscription so I just wanted to access the free version. But when I downloaded Zoom to my Macbook Air I was presented with a page that gave me the option of a monthly or yearly plan which I had to pay for.  I could not advance on from this page without choosing one or the other.  How do I access the free version?

hi @Timo4art

You can run the free version from the browser and be limited to 40 minutes.

You don't need to install anything at all,
From the Zoom.us site, you can choose to start a meeting

then further down the screen, you will see Start from browser.
all the best
