Zoom on Facebook Portal

So, I see a doctor (therapist) on zoom.  She sends me a texted link to join her session on zoom.  Here’s the issue:

I started using a Facebook Portal camera on my TV.  When the text arrives on my phone, I can’t open the meeting on the TV.  

Is the meeting ID part of the text so I can put it into the Facebook Portal Zoom?  Or is her personal link name somewhere in the text?  

I don’t know if this makes sense.  Thank you to anyone who knows the answer!

Can you provide an example of what the text from your doctor looks like?

Do they also send you an email confirmation or is your confirmation only via text?
