Zoom not responding

Hi,

Our office is currently experiencing issues with Zoom crashing, with the error message "Your system is running at a lower performance. Please close other applications." We have also checked the Task Manager, and we can see that Zoom only takes up 3% of the CPU and not much RAM.

We have tried:

  • Signed out of all Zoom login locations
  • Cleared app cache
  • Updated app version
  • Manually updated Zoom app
  • Bios, firmware, and drivers updated
  • Optimized startup apps and services
  • Disabled zoom hardware acceleration and video enhancement features
  • Disabled video preview
  • Set default hardware selection for video and audio
  • Set compatibility mode to Windows 8 under properties.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other solutions.

Best regards,

Adrian Rajic

You have not clarified the CPU being used. Minimum is an i5 and 4 cores and recommended is an i7. Recommended RAM is 16GB.

I use the following $200 device to run Win 10 Pro, OBS Studio, PTZOptics, RealVNC, and Zoom.

System Manufacturer LENOVO
System Model 10FLS4SG00
System Type x64-based PC
System SKU Unsupported
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
