My laptop has its' own mic mute key. After I press mic mute key, system is muted. I can't speak in zoom meeting. But the mic icon of zoom still present "unmute". Seems zoom mic status doesn't sync as system mic status.
Also, when zoom mic show mute, I can't unmute it via pressing keyboard mic mute key. Seems only can be unmuted via zoom mic UI.
This situation can be observed on different laptop brands. I'm not sure if it's a design or bug? I saw some similar questions on internet but seems no official comment. That will be great to get answer from here 😀. Thanks.

This is not a bug and is functioning as designed - the mic state of your laptop's internal mic at the OS level is not linked (nor is it meant to be linked) to individual software mute states (such as Zoom).
If you are looking for external audio hardware (mics, headsets, etc) that is specifically designed to sync mute states, please consult Zoom's list (which includes configuration instructions) here:
