Question

Zoom meeting invites

One of my invitees to a Zoom meeting complained that there was no way for the invite to got to his calendar other than him manually entering it.  He was looking for the line to accept or deny, which if accepted would presumably enter it in his calendar.  Am I missing something?  This is the first time anyone has said anything and, of course, it's my son!

    Hi,

There is several ways to send a meeting invite. If you send it via a regular email, there is no options to add it to your calendar, so yes they have to do it manually. If you send it via a calendar event, they will have that option.

A nice video explaining all this can be found here:

    Thanks,

This feature works great. However, I noticed it does not with reoccurring meetings or webinars. I hope the Zoom team fixes this soon.

    Hello,

Zoom invitations can include an .ICS file.

    Hello,

Navigate to the Zoom us Web portal

    Personal>Settings> Meeting>In Meeting Advanced

or search the toolbar at the top for ics.

    Hi there,

I was wondering if Zoom invitations that include .ICS files are possible for scheduled meetings as well?

Or is it only limited to Zoom webinars?
