Hi there,
Since an update a few weeks ago, Zoom keep using my camera after the call has finished (the blue light on my camera remains on and the "Zoom is using your camera" message is present in the taskbar).
If I try to make a second call the camera will fail to initialize in Zoom.
The only way to de-allocate the camera without a reboot is to go into task manager and kill all zoom processes, even after exiting Zoom.
Has anybody else come across something similar?
I'm using Window 10 and Zoom 5.15.3 (18551).

Hi TWA123,
Does reinstalling Zoom fix the issue? Are you able to revert back to a previous Zoom version that doesn't have that issue?

HI Aaron
Re-installing unfortunately doesn't fix it. Neither did downgrading to 5.14.11.

Is this an internal webcam on a laptop, or an external webcam you have plugged into your computer?

An external webcam.

Do you have the same issues with the internal webcam?
Try updating the webcam driver software on the webcam's website.

I don't have an internal webcam as it is a desktop PC.
Driver is up to date and I still have the problem.

Actually, my HP computer's light is still on after my zoom session. It go away if I restart or close the computer and reopen it
