Zoom is using wide angle lens only on phone

Hello everyone,

I want to host and record meetings on Zoom on my phone. When I start a meeting and switch from the front camera, Zoom always uses the wide angle lens, which has horrible quality. I would much prefer the standard lens, but don't find any options to change the camera, just the switch button in the meeting, which goes back to front camera.

I am using Samsung S20FE and newest update

Anyone knows how to handle it? Thanks!

I am having the same issue. The change happened all of a sudden. I think it was a Zoom update and that Zoom is responsible, not my phone. But I am not eligible for phone support. I wish I could fins help for this problem. It happened on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ so I switched to using my cheap newer phone, a Samsung Galaxy A32. This phone still uses the regular camera but the quality is very cheap. I use a phone as a second camera for a Birdseye view of my piano keyboard. Sometimes I need to hold a book up to that camera and it doesn't focus well like my former ipad mini did before it suddenly died. SO...I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and the problem is even worse because this camera has an ultra wide angle. There is no way it will work for my keyboard camera. All three of my phones are running slightly different versions of Zoom but when I try to update the 2 with wide angle problems, I am told they are up to date. Please let me know if you have found a solution!
