Zoom invitation link is not a hyperlink

Hi all,

Trying to assist a colleague here, when she receives a Zoom invitation in her Outlook.com inbox, the Zoom invitation is not a hyper link (Blue), and she is forced to copy and paste the link onto the browser to join the meeting.

I have seen online that this is a known issue and it has something to do with having to enable "Use HTML format email for Outlook plugin" in account settings in your Zoom portal.

Can anyone assist me with fixing this issue and/or finding where the HTML format is located? I cannot seem to find it.

Hi @AliKomeilian welcome to the community! Suggest looking into the Community discussion around "Zoom Plug In for Outlook - Zoom Meeting Link Wont HyperLink in Invite"!

You can also go to https://zoom.us/profile/setting > Meeting tab > In Meeting (Advanced) > enable "Use HTML format email for Outlook plugin"

Let me know if you're able to find the setting!

I am having the same problem; I click on "copy invite" and paste into an email but the link part doesn't work?

Hi @lorcr123 this discussion is about enabling the "HTML format email for Outlook plugin".

Are you referring to the fact that after scheduling from https://zoom.us/meeting/schedule or the Zoom desktop client, the link to join the meeting does not redirect or simply does not act as a link to click on? I would include "https://" before the rest of the Zoom join link in the invitation.
