Zoom freezes during Powerpoint presentation when a participant drops out and then re-joins

While presenting Powerpoint slides using share screen in Zoom, if a participant loses wifi connection and drops out, when they are re-admitted again via the Waiting Room the Powerpoint presentation freezes. The only solution I've found is to exit the screen share and then re-start it again. This has been an ongoing problem since I started using Zoom. Any suggestions ?

I have the same issue - have you found a workaround?

Same problem, though it happens willy-nilly. Slides will progress just fine...until suddenly they freeze and pushing the button on my mac gives me only an annoying beep sound. Getting out of full screen and back in usually fixes it, but sometimes I need to stop and restart the share. Geesh!

I have this happening with kiosk presentations, freezing when new people log into the event.  Have you found any solution(s)?

Late to the replies here but I have found if the powerpoint freezes during screen share, if you mouse click anywhere on the screen this seems to reactivate it so you can continue to progress the slides
