When the meeting starts and participants turn on their cameras, Zoom freezes. Everything freezes and nothing works for a few seconds. After that, the images of all participants (including me) are automatically pixelated. This means the quality of your camera images decreases.
Furthermore, Zoom crashes again every time I increase or decrease the number of videos (participant cameras to be displayed), i.e., when I select "Show video thumbnail or grid" during screen sharing to display the remaining participants.
The interesting thing is that I asked the participants if they were experiencing the same issue I described above, and they told me they weren't, and everything was working fine for them.
I verified that it wasn't a problem with my internet connection, as my partner uses Teams every morning (I have meetings in the afternoon). There are usually several meetings per day, and the number of participants is usually between 15 and 40. She had no issues.

Several things affect video bandwidth. The CPU/GPU processing power (minimum i7 with 16GB RAM. A separate graphic card is recommended) and your computer is most likely (you did not give the hardware configuration) an i5 with 8GB of DDR3 memory (very slow by today's standard), WiFi vs ethernet (ethernet preferred). Using Teams does not validate the internet connection. Try a different device connected to ethernet for comparison.

My laptop's specifications are as follows:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.39 GHz
Installed RAM: 8.00 GB
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500
I use Wi-Fi. The router is 5 meters away from my laptop, with nothing between them to hinder its operation. During video conferences, it's the only device using my Wi-Fi network. During my video conferences, I usually share a PowerPoint presentation and a web page that displays an e-book. I don't have any other applications open. Finally, I don't use virtual backgrounds or avatars.
From what I've been able to find out, my laptop is perfectly suitable for Zoom. Up until a month ago, I'd never had a similar issue.
By the way, I'm attaching screenshots of another issue I didn't mention: after a minute, the top video tab for zooming in or out disappears.
The screenshots I'm attaching are pixelated by me.
Do the latest versions of Zoom require more powerful computers?
