Zoom for Alzheimer's or dementia patients

Trying to find an auto answer Zoom solution for Alzheimer patients, would like an appliance or device that would be passive to the end, user. We have multiple Amazon show 15s, we use with the drop-in feature , due to lack of Zoom app for this device, Show is limited to one person and connection is always an issue since you have to rely on contacts that may not work . there’s no way to dial a device directly.

hi @JerrySFL

There are zoom devices that can be used, but they are all setup for corporate meeting rooms etc and are expensive and would not be suitable for your use case. There would also be major privacy concerns about starting a zoom call remotely with the patients unware of what is going on.

All the best

I found the Amazon ECHO show devices accomplish what we were trying to do by putting multiple devices on one account. We are able to initiate remote virtual meetings between two dementia patients , MOM and DAD in different locations , I have to curate and initiate the call with all family command from a ECHO show  , this works ok just not as clear as Zoom meeting.
