I use Zoom daily and today it stopped working. Every time I try to log in, the application closes a few seconds later. I have already uninstalled it and installed the latest version of Workplace but it has not been resolved. Could you please help me?

1. Check for System Updates
Sometimes, operating system updates can affect the behavior of applications. Ensure that your system (Windows, macOS, or whichever OS you're using) is up to date.
- Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click Check for updates.
- macOS: Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Software Update.
2. Clear Zoom Cache
Zoom might have some corrupted cache files. Try clearing the Zoom cache to see if that resolves the issue:
- Windows:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type %appdata% and press Enter.
- Go to the Zoom folder and delete it (or move it to another location as a backup).
- macOS:
- Open Finder, then click Go > Go to Folder.
- Type ~/Library/Application Support/ and press Enter.
- Find and delete the Zoom folder.
3. Disable Antivirus/Firewall
Some antivirus software or firewalls might block Zoom from running correctly. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus or firewall and see if Zoom starts working.
Note: Be sure to turn it back on after checking.
4. Check Zoom Log Files
Zoom generates log files that might give you more insight into what's going wrong. These can be found in the Zoom folder in the following locations:
- Windows: C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\logs
- macOS: ~/Library/Logs/zoom.us
Check the log files for any errors or warnings that could help identify the issue.
5. Run Zoom as Administrator (Windows)
Sometimes, permissions issues can cause apps to crash. Try running Zoom as an administrator to see if that helps.
- Right-click on the Zoom icon and select Run as administrator.
6. Reinstall Zoom (again) with Clean Uninstall
It’s worth trying a more thorough uninstall and reinstall:
- Uninstall Zoom through Control Panel (Windows) or Applications (macOS).
- Then, manually delete any remaining Zoom-related files in the folders mentioned earlier.
- Restart your computer and reinstall Zoom from the official Zoom website.
7. Try Zoom Web Version
If the desktop app isn't working, try logging in to Zoom through your browser using the Zoom web Portal. . This can serve as a temporary workaround until the issue is resolved.
8. Check for Compatibility Issues
If you are using any special configurations like a virtual machine or specific network settings, check if those are causing the issue.
If none of these steps help, it might be worth contacting Zoom Support directly, as they may be able to provide additional troubleshooting based on your account or system configuration.
Let me know if you'd like more details on any of the steps!

I've tried everything, and it doesn't work. It only works in the internet browser. But I need it to work as an app on the PC.
