Zoom does not remember my settings (linux)

So every since i installed the latest version of zoom, it does not remember anything 

after i've closed the application.

doesn't respect the "remember my log info"

doesn't remember that i want my camera off by default (even though it's set that way in my account)

doesn't remember call numbers when connecting to a zoom for government room.

nothing

Not only does this application basically screech my system to a halt when screen sharing, (even though i have plenty of ram) i have to do everything manually. every. time.

very annoying, i hate having to use it.

anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it?

I have the same problem on my computer running Kubuntu 24.024. I had the problem on Kubuntu 22.04 until I upgraded this last weekend.

Same here. Running Zoom 6.2.10 on Ubuntu 24.04

Fwiw deleting ~/.zoom and opening Zoom again did the trick for me
