Zoom crashes whenever I try to enter a meeting

Whenever I try to enter a meeting - the meeting window opens and then immediately crashes and closes.
Then it tries to reopen, and crashes again.

 

Tried to restart my PC, reinstalled Zoom Workplace....

 

Yesterday Zoom Workplace was updated to version 6.3.6 (56144).

 

Needless to say - but I couldn't find any way to contact support. Going through the bot leads to endless and futile dead ends...

 

Would appreciate every assistance.

  • Impacted User(s)
  • Screenshots
  • Details
    • Date
    • Time
    • Duration
    • Errors

This happens on multiple meeting IDs

I have submitted a ticket and attached a screen capture

But no one is answering...

What a dreadful service experience.
This new "feature" is devastating to me.

Hey @ErOs,

 

The Support team should be able to respond within 48 hours. You can take your Zoom Meetings in your web browser for now.

Hi, I have the same problem as you. Every time I want to join the meeting (webinar) Zoom unexpectedly crashes. I have the new version  6.3.6 (56144) and tried to re-install. I have missed too many meetings and webinars now with no solution. Please help.

Hi. I have placed the ticket couple of times now and every time I did I got an email response saying my ticket was closed as it was placed from inactive account. So frustrating. I have registered my account and I have submitted a ticket when I was logged in so I'm not sure what is happening.

I found that the ZOOM Workspace upgrade created a conflict with the sound device driver.

After disabling the driver - Zoom returned to being stable (without audio of course....).

After some tweaking. upgrading and reinstalling the driver - problem was SOLVED.
