When I share a Keynote presentation, Zoom evidently sizes the presentation to fit the participants' windows, top to bottom, and then overlays the black control bar. Consequently, participants are prevented from seeing the content covered by the control bar. How do I keep this from happening?

Hey @MarkAtKCC are you referring to this black control bar?
You can go into your Zoom settings > Share Screen > uncheck 'Show my Zoom windows to other participants when I am screen sharing' to 'hide' that from being viewable on the participant's side while screen sharing. Keep in mind this control bar is movable by dragging it.
