Zoom changes again, and but I still can't get meetings to record in HD!!!

Branding changes. Plans and pricing changes. The clarity of difference in services and plans changes including the quality of recordings changes in plans, but what doesn't is the fact that all of my two-person meetings are recorded in 640x360 resolution and not HD.

I was told by a Zoom Rep...AFTER you begin local recording, change every computer on which you are recording from either:

Speaker to Gallery and back to Speaker View (if recording Speaker View), OR
Gallery to Speaker and back to Gallery View (if recording Gallery View).

It's silly, but it changes the resolution from 360 to 720 (or 1080, if you've bought that package).

This has worked for me.
