Hello, Zoom community,
At my workplace, we started to upgrade/update our zoom system entirely to the latest version it required (5.14.0). All of our individual units were upgraded except one. It is a Zoom cart device for our executive meetings. That device doesn't upgrade beyond (5.9.4). Every time we try to start a new meeting or join a meeting, from that device, it says it can't join/start because it needs to be upgraded.
At my organization we have tried the following, not in this particular order:
- Uninstall the device and install it again.
- Went through different configurations to upgrade and it says "it is the latest version" (5.9.4).
- Remove the device from the system and add it no another system to try to upgrade or see if this works, but didn't.
The device is in good health. Please any advice would be highly appreciated.

Hi @LuisRodriguez welcome to the community! Just needing a bit more info from you to further troubleshoot! Are you running Windows or macOS? Is your organization using any type of Device Management?

hi luisrodriguez,
i suggest using cleanzoom to completely remove zoom and then download latest client.
To remove Zoom completely, including any configuration files, run CleanZoom on your device.
Did my response answer your question? If so, please don't forget to mark the reply as an accepted solution.

If your Zoom client isn't updating to the latest version automatically, you might want to try manually downloading and installing the latest version from the Zoom website. Sometimes, network issues or permissions can hinder automatic updates. After updating, ensure that you restart the Zoom client to apply the changes. If the issue persists, you can also try uninstalling the current version and then reinstalling the latest version from scratch. Additionally, checking your firewall or antivirus settings to ensure they're not blocking Zoom updates could be helpful. Finally, reaching out to Zoom support for further assistance might provide insights tailored to your specific situation.
