Zoom audio device

I use Garageband and zoom on my MacBook Air. When I connect my external microphone to use on GarageBand it does not show up on GarageBand. All that shows up is 'Internal Microphone' and 'Zoom Audio Device'. How do I get rid of zoom audio device? My external  microphone works perfectly well on my other MacBook Air computer. This is because I have never used zoom on my other MacBook Air computer.

Hi @samopeck, it's been some time since you've posted this but are you still running into any issues with the external microphone? Just to clarify, is the external microphone not showing up in Zoom or Garageband? Can you share the available inputs from System Preferences > Sound > input? Essentially, applications will pick up input/outputs that are available at the system level.

For example, the same inputs are available in Zoom.

Same for Garageband as well. For context on the Zoom Audio Device which is necessary for sharing audio on Mac and requires an installation when installing Zoom on MacOS.
