Zoom Workplace wont save my settings

Hi,

I've had a problem with settings on Zoom Workplace for a long time.

Zoom app doesn't save my personal settings on my laptop, a MacOS Sequoia Version 15.2 (24C101)

I tried a lot of options, all of them with no success.

I keep my app updated (the last version is 6.3.1 (45300)), and today I tried to do a fresh install but failed again.

This is very annoying behavior.

Every time I open the app, a pop-up opens with a message:
| The installation was successful"

| You are on the version 6.3.1 (45300). Discover what’s new
| Automatically keep the Zoom Workplace app up to date
| Tip: you can change this in "Settings - general

Check the box in the pop-up or changing settings on general settings doesn't change anything. I'll receive the same message when I open the app again.

This behavior occurs with all options, like default devices such as audio input and output, camera, dual monitor, and other configurations, everything is lost when I close the app.

Please, help me solve that. It's very stressful to need to reconfigure audio, monitor, personal preferences and etc every time and try to never close app until next system boot or software update.

If you need some details, logs, or everything, I can share them to help.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Having the same problem here. Tried a bunch of things, but nothing has worked yet. I also have no virtual background or video effects showing and can't add or AI generate any. This problem is only limited to the Zoom app on my M1 Macbook Pro. Web browser version works fine (but can't share Computer Audio).

Hello @xx_yyz!

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here!

Kindly update or reinstall your Zoom app to the latest version.
Once the meeting starts, a green video icon will appear in the top-right corner of your Mac's menu bar. Click the icon and uncheck 'Background' to disable the native background from your Mac.

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
