Zoom Rooms Pool

Hello, good afternoon everyone, I am new to zooming and I am not aware of all the things it can do, in this case I have a question and is there any way to have a pool of virtual rooms for meetings between two people?

The pool in this case would be the availability of free rooms and according to the need of the moment, take the one that is available.

What would I need to configure it, if I should buy equipment or is it only a licensing issue that I require

    Hi @DavidQ

Typically, "Zoom Rooms" would be licensed hardware and software solutions put into a physical meeting space - but they can then be booked in the way you describe. https://explore.zoom.us/docs/en-us/zoomrooms.html

Using actual Zoom Rooms for a purely virtual pool implementation would be relatively expensive in licensing alone. Depending on your numbers. https://zoom.us/pricing/zoom-rooms

Zoom Rooms generally run on dedicated hardware - either PC or appliance based. https://zoom.us/hardware. They can be virtualized - but it is not trivial.

There may be ways of handling what you need in terms of the scheduling-availability piece with just regular Zoom Meeting licenses. But ultimately I think you would still need an amount of licenses equal to the maximum number of concurrent meetings you may want to accommodate.

How many users/rooms are you trying to accommodate? Do you have any licensed users already?

The idea is to place a maximum of 50 people in 25 rooms (since there will be meetings 2 people per room), but for that reason I try to find out if the most optimal way would be some kind of pool of zoom rooms where they are available 24/7. rooms and it is only a matter of joining as required

Hi DavidQ, were you able to find a solution?

I have the same problem because I have about 35 users but they never exceed 5 concurrent meetings. I would like to have a pool of 5 users that are assigned for their meetings as they are needed. I can't afford to pay zoom for all 35 users.
