Zoom Recordings and Cloud Storage

As Dropbox is removing the Zoom integration from their application, I wanted to see if there are other platforms that pretty much have this feature to have our Zoom recordings automatically be stored on that platform.

Hello @Hec4896 ,

You have some options.

Option #1: Cloud Storage Sync

Save your Zoom meeting recordings locally on your computer to a folder that is also automatically synchronized to something like Google Drive or Microsoft One Drive. You will obviously need to an account with one of these services and depending on how many recordings you want to store you'll probably be paying for storage eventually.  Also, recording meetings locally on your computer can really slow down a computer that doesn't have the ability to host a meeting and also record video.

Option #2: Livestream Meetings to YouTube

This is a low to no cost option depending on the type of Zom account you have currently, as you will need a Zoom account with a Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise License. This method is good as it does not require the person hosting the meeting to record the meeting locally.  This saves a lot on bandwidth, as well as removes the burden of recording and hosting a meeting on one computer.  Basically what you do, is you set up your meeting to livestream to your YouTube account and make the livestream private. When the meeting is complete, you will have the recording on your YouTube channel that you can download, edit or share with others.

Option #3: Video Hosting Platforms

This is a fairly expensive option but you could look at platforms like Kaltura or Panopto to store your Zoom Recordings.

Obviously, There are a other ways that you can store your zoom recordings using things like Zapier, IFTTT, and even running a Python script on your computer, but honestly, the easiest way is to purchase Cloud Storage from Zoom, and save and share your recordings directly from Zoom.

I hope that this provides the information you need, reply if you have any further questions. Otherwise, consider marking this post a "Accept as Solution" so other Zoom Community members may find this solution as well!

Cheers!

+1 you can store the recording on range of video hosting platforms. You could use APIs to upload the recordings programmatically, if you are not a developer there is a marketplace app, Salepager that can store your Zoom cloud recordings for you.
