On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom Quits Unexpectedly: Entering a meeting room with promotional video (waiting room)

Hi, I have downloaded zoom on my laptop just so I can use it for meetings outside my home. However, upon entering a meeting with a promotional video, it suddenly freezes and gives me this error: Zoom has quit unexpectedly. (Note: this does not happen with my PC as it loads the promotional video without errors and I can wait for several minutes before meeting starts) However, with my laptop running windows 11, it seems to get this error regardless of multiple attempts of reinstalls, updates, and even cleaning my cache and background apps. It does show high ram usage regardless of the amount of applications I put in disable upon startup and deep sleep. I am using Acer Nitro 5 with 8GB of ram. Does anyone have the same problem as I do? Please help. Thank you!

Hello, I have a customer with the same issue. Win 11, Zoom 6.4.x. She can join a meeting with a waiting room without a video, but something about adding a video makes Zoom Workspace desktop crash before the first frame of the video shows. We've verified it happens when joining to different accounts with different videos, so its not "a" video, its any video. Have used the Zoom purge utility, updated Nvidia drivers, etc. Stuck.
