Zoom Plug In for Gmail giving me Bad Request Errors

Hello,

I am trying to log in to my zoom account via the Gmail Zoom Plug in. Everytime I try to click the "sign in" button it takes me to a page that says "This page isn’t workingscript.google.com redirected you too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" and then this page appears "Bad Request Error 400" It's important for me to make Zoom meeting requests in my google calendar to help with workflow. When I click the "sign up" button it takes me to Zoom where I'm already logged in. But it's the sign in button that redirects me to an error page. Has anyone experienced this before? What can I do? I cleared cookies and that did not help!

Yep. keep getting this too. It's super annoying.

Clearing cookies, as it's sometime asks. Also doesn't work.

Sort it out Zoom!!

This also happens to me. Zoom is no longer updating my google calendar and the google add in is giving the same error. This is extremely inconvenient.

SOLUTION FOUND

This might help anyone still facing this issue.

The issue only occurred for a Zoom account that logged in using Google Account. If you create a separate (normal login) for Zoom (so don't use your Google Account to log in to Zoom), then the integration works.

Hope this helps you too.

Thanks, for this! I just submitted a ticket and I use Google to log in too. I'm going to try this out.

I'm also having this issue, with one of my Google calendars the add-in won't let me log into Zoom, it's giving me this same Bad Request 400 Error. I'm not using my Google account to sign into Zoom, it's another account - and it's not working. So the suggestion to have a separate log in doesn't work for me. Can anyone help?

Sadly exactly the same issue here. Would appreciate a solution myself, too! Still getting Error 400 with Google intergration, even when closing/logging out of everything and trying again with all updates in place etc. Also grateful for any help by anyone.

I am continuing to have this same issue over and over again over the last several months. Sometimes deleting the cookies works, but I have been given access to several of my clients' email accounts and clearing the cookies means they have to re-authenticate me, which causes an inconvenience for them. Has anyone found a resolution for this without having to delete cookies?

I was told recently to sign out of all Google accounts and to use the Chrome extension, not the Gmail extension. Then they told me it was a "Google problem, not a "Zoom problem."

Hello there,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience you experienced.

If you have trouble starting Zoom on desktop or web, joining a meeting, or signing in to your Zoom account, we recommend clearing cache and cookies in your device or in your browser.

Removing information stored in cache and cookies may help resolve a variety of issues, including trouble when scheduling a meeting, enabling audio and video settings, or using other Zoom features.

Additionally, you can clear the marketplace app data that is cached on the desktop if you have issues opening Zoom Apps.
