Zoom Microphone

I purchased a new computer (HP Envy). I used zoom a couple of times with no issues. I recently tried to use zoom and the microphone was no longer reading on zoom. The mic is not muted-  I have all settings to enable access, permissions, etc. The computer is reading the microphone- it is just when I go to zoom it stops working. I have the latest zoom- I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Everything is up to date.  Any suggestions?

Hi @joslynj

I would check for any pending Windows Updates, or driver updates.

In Windows > go to Settings > Update & Security > Check for Updates.

Download and Install any updates available.

Also in your Zoom Audio Settings - try un-checking automatically adjust microphone volume, and ensure your microphone volume slider is somewhere to the right, rather than down low to the left.

Also try the 64-bit version of Zoom:
