Zoom Workplace desktop no longer operates on my computer. I have been using the browser version for the last month or so but I would like to troubleshoot the desktop version. When I select Zoom either using the StartMenu icon or by directly double-clicking on the Zoom application, I seemingly get no response whatsoever. I see no delay, window opening or other indication that the program has attempted to run. There are no Zoom processes in Task Manager....not even briefly.
It also does not launch from a browser or email/appointment link.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times with reboots between the steps. I have run the CleanZoom program. Zoom does show in my Apps list but the "Modify" option is grayed out. I am not experiencing problems with other programs. I've cleared caches, deleted cookies. I've also run CCleaner.
I browsed other messages here in the community but did not find additional suggestions.
Configuration:
Microsoft Surface Pro 9; 16GB RAM; 477GB flash drive (249 available); i7 12th Gen
Windows 11 Pro 24H2 with all current updates.
Aside from Microsoft365, there are few other programs on the device (no gaming whatsoever, for example).
No 3rd party antivirus (only Windows Defender).

I'm having a similar issue. I can install Zoom, but it doesn't run or even show up in Task Manager when I double-click it. Strangely, if I run it with Admin rights, then I can get to the sign-in screen, but after I sign in with my Google Account, the web page gives me the "Launch Zoom" link, but that doesn't work. So I'm back at square one, where Zoom doesn't run at all. I'm using a Windows 11 with 2025-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for arm64-based Systems (KB5055523). Zoom was working for me last month, but no longer.

I thought I had a similar problem and it turned out that another software, CCleaner, was the conflict. For some reason, when I attempted to run zoom, in the Task Manager I saw a program appear with the Zoom icon, but the program was called CCleaner Reactivator. So I think somehow the Zoom.exe was running CCleaner. After I uninstalled CCleaner, Zoom started to work again. The key thing was that I noticed (by accident) that another program was starting in the Task Manager every time I tried to launch Zoom, but the program's name was different.

try first deleting zoom workplace client. then download zoom workplace client from microsoft and then isnstalling.

My Zoom.us application also stopped working the day after my Mac Air upgraded to Sequoia 15.5. Can I also use the above website as a Mac user. I currently do not have any Windows for Mac programs installed on my computer: M2

En mi caso, la aplicación tarda de 20 a 25 segundos en abrir, y si quiero iniciar una reunión puede demorar más.
Ya reinstalé a la última versión publicada en el portal oficial de zoom, pero sigue igual.
Tengo otros equipos con los mismos aplicativos y no les pasa esto.

Last night, I modified my personal settings with my Zoom account and I disinstalled Zoom.us and I reinstalled Zoom workplace (zoom.us) on my computer and now it immediately takes me to the meeting page. I also set up in setting a reoccuring meeting template as most of my meetings are with one person so I tend to send out the same link all the time.
Anoche, modifiqué mi configuración personal en mi cuenta de Zoom, desinstalé Zoom.us y reinstalé Zoom Workplace en mi computadora, y ahora me lleva directamente a la página de la reunión. También configuré en los ajustes una plantilla de reunión recurrente, ya que la mayoría de mis reuniones son con una sola persona, así que tiendo a enviar el mismo enlace todo el tiempo.
