On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom Breakout Room Options/Allocations Not working

Hi I use Zoom Breakout rooms regularly for training. Today I had a group of 60 participants. When I went to allocate them into break out rooms the option to for zoom to allocate automatically was not showing in the options. 

 

I had add rooms and then manually select and transfer 60 participant across to the newly created  individual rooms. 

 

I have gone in and rechecked my Account Settings and this already had  the Breakout Room feature turned on. (so breakout room automatic allocations should have been possible).

 

What can I do to fix this and why is it occurring?

What version of zoom client do you have?

I see that in version 5.12.6, there were bug fixes with breakout rooms, can you confirm that your version is higher than this and update to the latest one?

I'm running latest version 5.12.8. We did have 3 co-hosts assigned for the training. Would this make a difference?  Is there anywhere in settings or my license levels that would influence this?
