Zoom 6.2.6.2503-1 keeps crashing on Fedora 41 when stopping screen sharing

Dear Zoom Community,

I'm using 'zoom_x86_64.rpm: RPM v3.0 bin i386/x86_64 zoom-6.2.6.2503-1' on Fedora release 41 (Forty One). I noticed that every time I stop my screen share Zoom freezes and I cannot use the controls anymore.

Sometimes audio keeps working until the app crashes completely.

Is there any way to gather debug logs and raise a bug report, when I'm not a paying customer?

Cheers

This sounds like possibly the same thing as over in https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/zoom-freezes-when-stopping-screen-sharing-on-linux/td-p/208420#M116739 - and, it's been fixed for me (on Debian) by upgrading to the current zoom, 6.2.10.4983. Hope that works for you!

Thank you @petrelharp,
I can confirm that the upgrade to version 6.2.10.4983 fixed the issue for me as well. 🙂

(And FWIW I'm on a paid plan but there's no bug reporting system that I know about either - although, someone from zoom seems to have noticed that other thread.)
