Zoom 5.9.3 on Windows 11 desktop causes heavy video glitching when using an external webcam

But this does not happen with the integrated webcam in my laptop.

And the external webcam works fine with Zoom 5.9.3 on Windows 10.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

    Just to clarify -

I meant that Zoom 5.9.3 desktop client has this problem on my Windows 11 laptop, but not on my Windows 10 laptop.  And only with the external webcam (Vitade) but not with the integrated laptop webcam.

I would just rule out a HW issue with your laptop first.

Sounds like a HW issue on your laptop.  did you check other apps which use video?  Google meet? Teams?

    Thanks.

It’s the external web cam that has the issue.  The laptop webcam works just fine.

The external webcam works perfectly in the Windows 11 camera app.  But that may not stress test it enough.  I will check Teams and G Meet tomorrow.
