Yet another zoom crash | When joining a meeting/Opening zoom

Running windows 10 education 64bit Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363
Ryzen 5 3600 | GTX 1660ti Studio Drivers Ver.472.39
Zoom 64bit Ver.5.8.3 (1581)

A popup "Zoom quit unexpectedly" appears every time I open the zoom app or join a meeting through a link.
The app beneath still responds to clicks but doesn't open/change any windows (for example zoom settings).
