Windows 11 - Zoom reboots PC during meeting

My PC restarts at irregular intervals during a Zoom meeting. I assume it just shuts down and restarts, but there is no blue screen.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Both Windows and Zoom are up to date with the latest updates.

I have same issue, has occurred in 4 consecutive starts of a Zoom meeting. It happens within just a few seconds of the meeting starting, just goes black screen and reboots the PC.

I’ve seen this happen before, and it’s usually not Zoom itself causing the restart — it’s often a hardware or driver issue that only shows up when the system is under load (like during a video call).

A few things you can check:

Overheating: Zoom uses both CPU and GPU, so if temperatures spike, the system may reboot without showing a blue screen.

Power supply issues: A weak or failing PSU can cause sudden restarts during demanding tasks.

Drivers: Even if Windows is up to date, make sure your graphics drivers, chipset drivers, and BIOS/UEFI are also updated.

Event Viewer: Check Windows Event Viewer → System logs for “Kernel-Power” or similar critical errors right before the restart.

RAM stability: Faulty RAM can also cause sudden reboots without BSOD.

You’re definitely not the only one who's experienced this — it’s a fairly common symptom of a hardware or driver issue triggered by high usage. Hopefully one of these checks helps narrow it down!
