Will I run out of time if the host makes me a host (I am unlicensed and not pro)?

My boss wants me to run his zoom meeting slides and wants to make me the host.  Will all his account features be transferred to me i.e. the unlimited time when he makes me a host?  or will the meeting be cut off?

When he makes you the host, all of his licenses features such as no 40 minute time limit will transfer to you while you're now hosting the meeting.

Does this remain true if the original host--the person with the Pro license--leaves the meeting?

It makes no difference whether the Zoom license owner is preset or not. They just need to start the meeting and transfer the host role to you, and they are free to depart.
