Why does my video go into a wide angle whenever I speak?

When I start my video in a zoom call it's normal. As long as I am muted it stays this way. But when I unmute myself to speak, it goes into a wide angle. 

I become smaller in the center of the video and my background is more visible. This is very irritating, but I don't know how to change this setting.

Is there a way I can change this?

I have the same problem when I use a USB camera... Anyone have any suggestions??

Hi @AnnikaDen @convurg ! Have you tried to completely uninstall/reinstall the Zoom application?

@CarlaA are you saying that's the solution?  Because I did this recently to solve another issue with scheduling / calendar connections - and now this out of nowhere.   Zoom really needs to get better at testing upgrades

Hi Gavin! Many times simply uninstalling/rebooting/reinstalling fixes pesky bugs. This is usually our first troubleshooting step. Let me know if it does not help!
