Why can't I add an alternative host for the webinar

I invited someone to be the panelist and I would like to invite her as the alternative host. But when I put her email in, the system says: "Unable to assign "xxxxxx" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time"

Hello,

 

Prerequisites for designating an alternative host

 

  • Both users need to be Licensed and on the same account
  • For webinar, the user who schedules the meeting needs both a license and the webinar add-on; the alternative host only needs to be Licensed
  • Alternative hosts must be signed in to Zoom with the correct account in order to be granted the host or co-host permissions
  • Zoom desktop client for Windows, macOS, or Linux: Global minimum version or higher
  • Zoom mobile app for Android or iOS: Global minimum version or higher

 

Do you and the other person meet all of these requirements?

Hi  @Frank_TB. There must be another way to assign alternative host to a guest speaker I'm inviting to share their expertise with my guests. It shouldn't matter that they do not have Zoom account to be my guest speaker, or am I missing something? Thank you in advance for your response.

How do you invite a panelist that isn't on the same account, so an external person to co-host a webinar?
