I'm trying to understand the correct size for my Zoom profile photo. It keeps appearing blurry even though I have it set at a 1:1 radio and the image was high resolution. Any advice on how to create a profile photo that isn't blurry? When I update it on the Zoom web site under my Profile it shows as a correct resolution, but within any meeting it's very blurry and looks unprofessional.

"Please select a jpg/jpeg, gif or png image file with size smaller than 2M to upload and crop an image to be your profile picture."
Note that this statement about the profile photo does NOT state a resolution (x,y in pixels), it states a file size. The file size is dependent upon the resolution and the compression. Depending upon how the photo was taken and manipulated will alter the sharpness of the image. If you do not understand how this works please consult with a knowledgeable friend or colleague.

Make sure your Zoom profile photo is at least 400x400 pixels, square (1:1), and in JPG or PNG format.
Even if it looks clear on your profile, Zoom may compress it in meetings,so use a high-quality image to start with.

Technically 400 x 400 pixels is a very SMALL image. Here is an image example that is 1434 x 1536 pixels that is only 823KB, well under the 2M file size. I would recommend using an image that is about 2000 x 2000 pixels with JPG compression. PNG has very little compression so a PNG file will be lower resolution before hitting the 2M file size.
