Waiting room function does not work

When in my Personal Zoom Room,  I wait but no-one turns up.  But guests are in the waiting room with the message to 'wait till host starts meeting'.  They email me to tell me, but I can't let them in because I have no sign that they are there.

This is a new problem.  Admitting people from the waiting room has worked perfectly for three years. and has suddenly failed.

By chance, are your participants in a different meeting? Just checking to make sure they have your Personal Meeting ID and are in that meeting.  This is easy to test. Grad another computer and join your meeting. Now start your meeting on the 2nd computer as the host. See if you are in your own Waiting Room. If you are, they are in another meeting. Please let me know if the test works. Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I have tried it but it doesn't work.  I think (fingers crossed) that the waiting room is functioning normally for a scheduled meeting, just not for my personal room.
