Waiting Room Not Working For Google Workspace

All of my settings are correct and the waiting room is enabled. People were always sent into the waiting room until today. I did some troubleshooting & found google workspace meetings are defaulted to not enabled. This must have been updated since yesterday. When setting up meetings in google workspace using the zoom extension for workspace, you have to manually toggle the waiting room option on the right side bar in gmail calendar (clicking the zoom logo, don't use the drop down) when using both PMI & Generate automatically. Wanted to share this in case anyone has new issues with this.

I am having this issue as well. I'd love to know if there is a way to set this up automatically on google.
