My laptop  does not have a camera.  Is it possible to use a virtual background in place of a black screen with my name on it?

Hello @moddybabba,

If not using a camera, there isn't a way to engage a virtual background. However, your screen doesn't need to just show black. You can add a profile photo that will show when a camera is not in use.

you can also add a virtual camera using something like OBS and then just add your imagery on OBS. Search online for "How to add OBS as a Webcam Source in Zoom"
