Videos cannot be shared in a meeting

I have an ipad air 17.3.1. and use Zoom app 5.17.11.

Neither via icloud drive, nor dropbox, nor VCL nor Microsoft onedrive was it possible for me to share a mpeg4 video with the participants: it can be seen and heard on my screen, but the others then have a black screen.

really could use some help here please..
