Video is no problem. I can hear them, they can't hear me. Using the Linux Client.

Hello,

I am using the Zoom Linux client on Mint Linux (Ubuntu/Debian variation).

My video is fine.

I can hear people in my zoom meeting just fine.

They can't hear me.  All they get is some strange distortion noise.

I'm using a USB webcam plugged into a desktop PC

How can I begin trouble shooting this?

Thanks

Steve

Hi @beforewisdom22! I know it has been a while since you initially posted, but I want to make sure you receive assistance. Are you still having this issue? If so, I'd love to help you get it resolved.

Hello @crchan123

Yes!  I still have the same problem.

What sort of information can I provide to start resolving the issue?

Steve

I hope your still there, I bought a New HP with windows 11. I can download Zoom Workplace is what it is called. I can hear the people on the screen, but my computer says I have no audio but the test with the ring works great, just not my voice
